2 Ways to Make More Money with Adsense

There are several blog and website owners out there that are currently using Google Adsense to monetize their sites. It is only natural to want to put Adsense on every new site you create without considering how it will affect the network..

For example, you may have several sites, some about payday loans, shoes, celebrities, and marketing strategies and maybe you have even decided to incorporate Google Adsense on all of them.

This is not a wise thing to do with a brand new site and there are a couple fundamental reasons why…

Google Adsense has something called Smart Pricing and if you are being Smart Priced currently, there is no doubt in my mind, you are losing money! Generally it only applies to people with more than one blog…

If you have only one blog then even if you are being smart priced there is not much you can do about it except take Adsense off your blog and that would defeat the purpose right?

After reviewing my Adsense revenue for the past couple weeks, I noticed that my payouts didn't match with my expectations of the PPC bids that advertisers were probably paying to advertise on pages with similar content.

I began to look at the type of Google Adsense advertisements that my blog was serving up and low and behold, the ads didn't really match the content… Even worse, sometimes I would get those Public Service Advertisements that are a complete waste of time and space because they don't payout when someone clicks on them…

The following are two things you should do if you want to make more money with Adsense:

1.) Remove Adsense ads from your newer blogs (generally blogs and sites with less than 200 unique visitors per day). If you still want to try to earn with the newer blogs set up a separate Adsense account strictly for your weakest blogs and websites.

2.) Don't place Adsense advertisements on your blog or website right away, give yourself time to build your traffic. You will find that it will make you more money in the long run because your site will rank faster for target keywords.

Try your best to avoid Google Smart Pricing at all cost and focus on optimizing your advertisements by placing them in places that people like to click. If you use these strategies there is no doubt that you will find added success making money online.
